AB Pharmacy was established with a single purpose: to provide care homes with a pharmacy partner they can genuinely rely on. We are not a general pharmacy that also serves care homes — AB Pharmacy specialises in supporting care homes and their residents. Our systems, workflows and communication have been designed with the needs of the care sector in mind, while our NHS essential pharmaceutical services are provided remotely in accordance with the requirements applicable to distance-selling pharmacies.
Our story
AB Pharmacy is operated by AB Care Group Ltd, a company established to address a clear gap in pharmacy provision for the care sector. We recognised that care homes needed more than a dispensing service — they needed a pharmacy that understood their regulatory environment, their staffing pressures, and the critical importance of getting medication right, every time.
As a GPhC-registered distance selling pharmacy, we operate across England, delivering dispensing services, monitored dosage systems, and comprehensive medication management support directly to care homes. Our systems, workflows and communication have been designed with the needs of care homes in mind, while our NHS essential pharmaceutical services remain available remotely in accordance with our NHS distance-selling obligations.
